Hello... I'm Andrew Garton and this is my personal project wiki If you're a collaborator, a relative, my daughter, a project partner or sponsor, you are welcome to create an account and make suggestions, contributions and provide support to my various projects.
I am an independent, socially conscious and self sponsored artist, composer and writer. I rely on commissions, gigs, the occasional grant and consultancies to support myself.
My work draws inspiration from the many cultures I have visited and the despair and injustices I have witnessed. I'm a traveller and very much appreciate and value the support I receive the world over. If you are interested in what I do and wish to contribute to it, please purchase one of my albums, make a donation to cover some of my costs or contact me with your ideas or proposal(s).
Ultimately I seek to create spaces for inspiration, knowledge sharing and reflection... I create works that attempt to "shift consciousness", to raise awareness not by threat or fear, but by an appreciation and comprehension that not only are we all in this together, that we are all made of the same stuff. Look up at the night sky and know that we're made of the same stuff of stars... knocks me out every time!
