During my recent trip to Europe I visited my Uncle and Aunt in Graz (mothers side). This is a remarkable trip as it was the first visit I was to make with a translator! Gustov, on the far left, is the man. I hope to return and spend more time with him and his family, to learn that which the forests have taught him.
A short story I wrote whilst walking home at dusk, grabbing pen and paper as I entered the house... It references the familiar streets of Fitzroy, from the Lambsgo Bar up to Gore Street, in and out of the quiet lanes behind Smith, with their street art walls and blue-stone pavements.

After a heady start to 2004 and lots of enthusiasm for the Son of Science Ensemble, the gigs just dropped off. And I dropped out. Ran out of money to keep the project going, but a come back is assured.
The album, mastered earlier in the year will be due out as soon as we have artwork for it completed. Be on the look out for a CD, pots of curry and video cameras... a launch is immanent!
